Designing for web

Having an online presence these days is a must. But just 'being online' is not enough anymore. There are too many sites competing for our attention (at least 80 million active sites at a recent count). And of course, there are probably only a handful of websites you really need to worry about (and no, we are not talking about the dubious photos of 'that' party from someone's mobile phone that have ended up on a friend's facebook page...). No, we are referring to your competitors' websites.

The key word these days is functionality. Once we've made your site look pretty, what do you need it to do? E-commerce? Blog? E-newsletter? Content management systems? No problem. Make your site work for you, not the other way round.
