About us

The Drawing Board is headed up by Creative Director, Declan Kenny. Declan has many years experience in the graphic design business. He cut his teeth in a local design agency, working for clients such as Intel, Hewlett Packard, Aer Rianta, Bewleys and many other companies. He was also the designer responsible for the award-winning website for Wild Ireland, a company set up to promote Irish wildlife and the environment. He went on to design their magazine which won the PPA Ireland Consumer Magazine of the Year in 2002. He also wrote articles for this magazine, and supplied illustrations and photographs.

He left to set up his own business in 2005. The Drawing Board offers a range of services: traditional design for print using the industry standard software (i.e. QuarkXPress, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop, etc.); website design including e-commerce; illustration work; copywriting; photography; videography, and multimedia.

Some of the clients we work for include Amnesty International, Front Line Defenders, Irish Medical Information, various County Councils, the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, National Parks and Wildlife Service and many private companies.

We also specialise in craft objects for educational use and museum display. But enough about me... how about you?
