Multimedia
A combination of exciting new technologies can create a whole new angle to a project
. Incorporating digital video, audio tracks and a variety of software packages, CD ROMs or DVDs can be created as one-offs or mastered for duplication.

The advent of new software and digital technology has now made multimedia an affordable option. In many cases - if used in the right context - it can be a cheaper and more efficient, and indeed more professional method of getting a message out there compared to a large print run of static, two-dimensional paper products.

Product launches, tourism promotions, new developments - all can be promoted with the added dimension of interactive multimedia.

The Drawing Board will handle the entire production, including storyboarding, scripting, video, editing, voiceover and music, where required.

The above stills are taken from a DVD production by the Drawing Board, in conjunction
with Design For Life. The DVD was produced
for an American tour company who
specialize in bringing people to Ireland. The 20 minute plus DVD features a wide
variety of video from around Ireland, together with voiceover and backing music. A five
minute section was specially commissioned and filmed in Shannon Airport (directed by
the Drawing Board), and the script was written by the Drawing Board and recorded with
a professional voiceover artiste in studio. Each of the sections were introduced with
a screen similar to the one shown above.

DVD productions such as this can add enormous cachet to a company's image.
They can be used to launch a project, advertise a service, promote a company;
there is no end to what can be done with DVD, and it can be done on a tight budget too.

Another option to consider are presentations that do not require the production of DVDs using specialist software. These can be produced on a very tight budget yet still contain video and sound if required. The Drawing Board prepared such a presentation recently for Naturally Wild at an exhibition recently.
